That Goldwater Republican shtick never quite rang true to me. Hill's mom was always whispering "empowering" bullshit in her ear, and I think that was the beginning of her problems. A bunch of fascist college lesbians just frosted the cake, so to speak.
Can you imagine if Hill had grown up like her contemporaries? She'd know how to bake cookies, have more than one kid, and probably would be a grandma. The pets wouldn't run when they saw her coming, and neither would her husband. Sad...

Yeah, it's hard to figure a true "Goldwater Republican" going to Wellesley.From what I've read, her "transformation" started earlier than college -- with some young minister in her hometown.
Oh, and I've pretty much always been as conservative as they get, and I graduated from Smith. Sure, I was in a distinct minority there, but they never got to me! ;)
