Of course I believe in God - have my entire life and the Bible.

Yet I also believe there is something else going on too. I feel there are two types of homosexuals - those that "choose" to experiment for diversion and those that have not developed through puberty to the normal ending point of heterosexuality.

This is the only thing that explains teen homosexuality. They are not out there looking for a gross diversion - they are just being themselves and trying to understand life and get peer acceptance. Peer acceptance sure does not come from being gay.

This is why it is so absolutely sad for young people to be faced with the "gay" problem - they are not equipped to handle the problems - they are too young and naive. Also, they must try and work out what is what in secret because of embarrassment, fear. Their whole future is in turmoil.

As I have heard many times - "Why in the world would anyone choose to be that way?"

That's some great psychobabble - let me guess, you belong to the Episcopalians, PCUSA or some other whitewash church.
Why would someone choose to live the gay way? I dunno, why do people choose to steal, murder, beat their wives, rape, commit adultery, etc.? Those "lifestyle choices" certainly bring their share of ostracism and punishment too. Does that mean no free will was involved, they were merely born that way and to call their actions wrong is hateful?
Look, you can't have it both ways - if you truly believe the Bible, practicng homosexuality is a grave sin. Even if it were a choice, it's a lousy one and one I don't want to pay the price for in social remedies. If you merely are a nominal pop-culture Christian who wants to go along to get along, have it your way.

This is the only thing that explains teen homosexuality.

Actually, there are two or three things.

1. Some kids may be "essentially" (for lack of a better word) gay. Irving Bieber's work in the 1950's with numbers of gays and "conversion therapy", in which he tried to intervene with psychotherapy to help homosexuals work out whatever issues might have been contributing to their homosexuality, found that there was a fraction that responded to psychotherapy (confuting the modern gay psychiatrists, who promote essentialism as the "official" line of the American Psychiatric Association and American Psychological Association), and another fraction, about a third, that didn't respond at all, who might be denominated "essential", or "biological", gays.

2. Sexual ingenues can be educated to homosexuality. Gays brag about it in private, but assert the opposite on the record when the debate is on.

3. Some people don't have a solid psychological background (a.k.a. a "good upbringing") and so are available for homosexuality........or whatever you've got.

For a while after the fall of sound psychiatry on the subject in 1972, the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual's third edition (DSM-III) carried a term, "ego-dystonic homosexuality", which meant homosexuality that caused suffering to the patient. This category has since been eliminated by the gay guardians of PC on the subject, the rationale being offered that, if only society would stop persecuting gays, they wouldn't suffer so. Substitute the words "murderers", "felons", "firebugs", "dipsomaniacs", or your other favorite outgroup here, and you can readily see where their logic leads -- and what I think of it.
