Joe, that took some careful planning on your part!
This is indeed our first, Brad's Gramma, and while we would have preferred the excitement surrounding a "regular" childbirth, Little Peanut (and the Good Lord) had other plans. S/he has been breech for quite some time necessitating the need for a c-section. The only positive aspect about this is knowing exactly when the baby is coming and having the opportunity to choose the birthday. I, being a patriotic American, originally wanted Veteran's Day but we were unable to get the doctor we desired on that day. I had no idea Monday was The Marine Corps Birthday. Thank you so much letting me know!
You are most welcome, MrCMan..:))
Couldn't let the opportunity pass to point this out.
Please add me to your Ping! List when you post a thread to properly welcome that child.
May God bless each of you, as you receive His beautiful Gift...
P.S. - Dare I suggest "Parris" as a name for a girl?
Not too sure about "Island" as one for a boy..|:>))
LOL
Even THOUGH the child won't be born on a day honoring the Navy or Coast Guard. Sigh. But, ya gotta do what ya gotta do. BIG sigh.
:-)
We're COUNTING on you coming back here to announce the arrival, right????
