In any event the little trooper (Dad is a soldier) was a few ounces over 2 lbs when born at 29 weeks gestation earlier this week.
I saw a picture, and he wasn't nearly as surrounded by tubes as the Termite was in the picture of him when he was born.
The little guy does have the pressure breathing tube, and the oxygen sensor on his little foot, which is nice and red. His color looks good too, and for such a small little guy, he's not all that skinny.
Oh goodness! Another little “bittie”!! Well we sure have room for prayers for those who need it and will add this baby to our list. It’s OK about not knowing his name, God does.
So glad little Katherine’s lungs are better. That’s a BIG plus. They have done amazingly well staying where they belong for this long. Everyday makes it better than the day before.
I know you hate the thought that you might not be there when they’re born.....maybe they will sense that Grandpa needs to be there for their big debut!! Your statement about the ER fee and your daughter lends me to believe that Miss V gets her attitude from Mommy. That’s not bad at all. We need more women who speak their mind and take a stand. You done good :)
I’ll be offline from the 31st thru the 3rd. I’m taking care of the Termite while Mom and Dad jet to LV for a couple of days. First time they’ve been a long way away from him ever. But no fear...I know that child well!! LOL And he’s excited about his “spend time with Nanee...and that’s with an accent on the ee !! 9pm on the 3rd will bring a relief to me and I know he will glad to see them. He’s hooked to the hip of his Mommy. They have a beautiful mutual love affair. As God planned......
Thanks for the update. If you need bandaids...let me know.
Hugs, prayers and love to all....
Nana
