She's getting pretty big, even though Victoria isn't due for about 6 weeks yet. Victoria is already over twice as big as Logan was when he was born. Everything is pretty fucntional, except her kidneys, which need a little more baking time. Daughter is having frequent sonograms because of having an anomoly in the umbilical cord. Not very common, but usually not a problem either, and doesn't seem to be in this instance.
Way to go, Gramps!!!! WAY TO GO VICTORIA!!! I LOVE that name!!!!
And now, for the SERIOUS PART.... TC really needs prayers. Four months ago, he stepped in a hole and jammed his hip/leg. After months of physical therapy, medication, etc., nothing helped and now the pain got so bad he had to leave the rig and head back home. He sees the doctor this Thursday and is going to insist that they put him in the hospital and operate. It seems that a nerve is now involved and there is just no other way to get relief.
We've been around this man and watched him push and go when he was exhausted. He would drive in to see Logan, spend an hour or 2 and drive back...... over a 400 mile trip like he was going to the grocery store. He ran the roads of this state like they were his driveway. But now..... not so. You can see it in his face and hear it in his voice. He is in so much pain that he can't stand to be awake and sleep won't come because of the pain. And after enduring this for over 4 months......something has to be done.
He's been a constant warrior for many of us in need.......and those who were not, but just needed a friend and a good laugh. Please ask everyone to pray for him, to ease his pain and for a speedy and complete recovery from this.
Dear Heavenly Father...you've given us so much with Logan and this whole thread, all of the dear friends that we've become due to one child. Lord, it's TC's turn now. He's hurting, Lord. PLEASE put Your hand on his body and ease his pain. Lord, let the surgery be VERY successful. Lord, PLEASE take away this pain.
We all love him, he's been an incredible friend to all of us...Please heal him.
In Your Holy Name I pray, Amen!
