In reaction to this and your post yesterday (I was offline for the day before you sent it) I'd just like to say, "AWESOME! He doesn't even look like the same baby in the original post! Prayer works wonders, so let's keep on doin' it, troops!

Thanks for organizing all these weeks of prayer. Praise God for his mercy.
There is a thread about a missing son (I don't know how to link). That Freeper needs serious prayers.
To: TexasCowboy
Oh how very heartbreaking for those parents. Thank you for that information. Will pray even harder now for the other two. Yes, seeing Logan's progress and him in his little Smurf Hat is just too overwhelming. God bless him and the other babies. The heavens are full of little angels like that one member of the triplets. :(
To: Mo1
Yes, that's what we were looking at. Those beautiful eyes, so bright and alert. How rewarding this is everyone, isn't it? Prayers are the most powerful thing for sure so we have to continue praying for Logan, Ryan, Sarah and the two triplets still with us and all the other babies and children of the world who need us.

Thoughts and prayers up, Logan.
Hang in there and keep fighting.

Logan's Wednesday morning update
Good morning to all......
Weight gain again!!.. the boy is now 3 lbs. 14.1oz ! All I can say is WOWIE :) Soon he's going to be 4 lbs.
It is unbelieveable to see the cheeks and chubby legs beginning to appear on what was once such a frail looking little one. My knees are getting sore from all of the "thank you God" prayers being said. I think I'm praying harder for others and those who care for him than I am Logan :) Of course, I continue to ask that he be kept safe, and continue to improve, but words fail me when I even try and explain our feelings as we watch this happy little one as he travels his road.
Logan gets to "dry nurse" his mommy every evening. She has to pump her breast before he does so ... they are trying to avoid the boy getting more feeding than he should..... but last evening, the nurse noticed that he was actually getting some "real stuff" from his mommy! They all had a good laugh over it... this boy has sucker power :) He's been practicing on his "sukie" and on mommy for several weeks and last night... he made it!!! LOL And he wouldn't let go because he really liked it. As his mommy says, "Pretty tricky with a feeding tube in his mouth" !! This child has such determination. If he wants to move to another position, other than turning over, he does it. He turns his head by himself and can scoot all over the isolette. He's a wonder in the making and a wonder to watch.
Now we just have to get those little lungs going better and those big bad hernias fixed and he'll be good to go near the end of October or the first part of Novemeber.
His mom's birthday is the 29th of Sept., and she is taking off work to spend the entire day with him. She told me last night that there is no greater gift she could ever receive than to spend it with her precious son and I agree 100%.
Logan has been and is an inspiration to a lot of people, and he's also helping the parents of those new babies around him. They see what the medical field has been able to do for him.... what the power of prayer and the Grace of God has done... and it gives them hope. That's something that unless you've been there, with the overwhelming experience of not knowing what's going to happen, etc., is perhaps the most frightening of everything. The NOT knowing, not understanding and the fear in your heart when you look at one of these infants.
There's been no further indication of moving him to another row. The nurse said that they like for him to be where he is, and since it's still necessary for him to be on the canula, and be suctioned to remove the "gunk" in his nose to assist him with his breathing and thwart off the desaps, they will probably leave him where he is for a longer period of time. That's ok. He's the "old man" in the section and he likes all of the attention he gets there.
Logan's story is certainly one of a miracle to date and we have no reason to think it won't continue. Please continue to offer your prayers for him, for his growth and well being. His family appreciates all of you.
God bless :)
~~~~~~~~BG here....so, as we read, Texas Cowboy holds the Termite. Sigh, big ole jealous sigh....LOL!!!
Thank You baby Logan for touching our lives.
You serve as an inspiration to us all.
You reminded us that without God's help we are all lost.
Ok, that said, ask Texas Cowboy to sing Anchors Aweigh
It's a favorite Marine song!
