Ironic, isn't it, that these self-professed 'peace-lovers' invariably resort to the gun and the gulag as their final argument. History makes my case.
Without any real consequences for their traitorous behavior, they are simply emboldened. Conservatives must become actively and loudly intolerant of liberal/socialists. Concede them nothing. They must be publicly scorned, ridiculed and shunned. Do not associate with them socially. Don't play with their children. Refuse to do business with them. Refuse to hire or work with them. Ignore their pleas for sustenance.
This is precisely what needs to happen. It's what I have practiced for some time now. In their face and on their case. It's what I'm teaching my kids. No 'tolerance' for evil.
Continuance on the current path of "tolerance" will result in bloodshed.
You are unfortunately correct. We won't fire the first shot, but we shall surely finish whatever they start, and with extreme prejudice. It's just about that time, too. This next election cycle could be the flashpoint. Or a certain monument in Alabama.
I said to my father in law the other night on the phone that I thought being a liberal was some kind of mental disorder. I used as a proof the fact that he was blaming the recall of Gray Davis on a plot by Republicans in Texas.
I told him he sounded like he was suffering from paranoid delusions.
"They only understand force"
I doubt they really 'understand' force at all. They may know how to use it, they may fear it, but I don't think they really understand it at all.
As far as Alabama goes, what are they going to do? Send it Marshalls to remove a monument? I forget who said it, but someone once said "They've made their ruling, now let them enforce it."
I have a feeling they'll be walking over a lot of people in order to do it.
Anyway, one things for sure. The worlds qetting pretty damned squirrely. All I know is that Clan Lurker is keeping its ammo dry and our options open.
