Thanks, Ernest. The
Observer article ticked me off last night. The left and their dishonest activist groups pretending to speak for the rest of the military....sowing dissent and dividing the nation - as usual - and during wartime after 9-11.
Some Americans go into the service to advance their political careers. Fighting to defend our nation? If they can work more international mischief and gain more political clout through the hapless UN, forget US sovereignty.

The thing is, the left doesn't care how many people die, as long as they can get back in power. That is my definition of pure evil. They know full well their actions are going to cause a lot more deaths and misery, in this country and around the world. It just doesn't matter to them.

That article in the Observer angered me as well. It seems to me that the greatest threat to the troops and the memory of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, is to have our support recede or the confidence in the mission eroded by unreasonable expectations and the reactions of weak kneed politicians. The press and every single Dem presidential candidate are leading the effort to make this so.
