Pity. The man looked sick all his life to me. But he sure could tap and he was a pretty good actor as well.

Started out as Hines, Hines, and Dad. Forst saw them on the tonight show with Carson. I liked the guy. Seem to have a winning personality and for years was the number 1 tap dancer.

He was in
White Knights and
Running Scared, that I can remember right off.
Also, he sang a fabulous duet with Luther Vandross, "There's Nothing Better Than Love.
He started in Hines, Hines, and Dad, with his brother and father.

Was he in that movie with the gay russian dancer guy?Yes, Mikhail Baryshnikov. The film was White Nights. I don't know whether he's homosexual or not though.
To: RoughDobermann
I hadn't heard he was ill.
So talented.
Sad.

Misha is gay? He has a daughter with Jessica Lange. Not that that means anything.....
To: OldFriend
Yes, that's the group. I can sit and watch him dancing with Michael Baryshnikov in White Knights FOREVER.

He was in "White Nights" (1986) with Alexander Baryshnikov and Isabella Rosellini, he was very good as an American expatriate black tap dancer that the Russkies used for propaganda purposes. I'd recommend this film.
