I guess the libertarian/liberal/secular view on all things is the only appropriate view, we are otherwise out of touch. I was thinking the same thing--whose "real world" are we talking about? The narrow, western-liberal, "progressive" world, or the rest of the world. If we really wanted to be in step with the rest of the world, homosexuality would be banned and punished.
