I guess the libertarian/liberal/secular view on all things is the only appropriate view, we are otherwise out of touch.

I was thinking the same thing--whose "real world" are we talking about? The narrow, western-liberal, "progressive" world, or the rest of the world. If we really wanted to be in step with the rest of the world, homosexuality would be banned and punished.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. May God have mercy on your soul.

I've read pretty much the same statistics. I like your questions about Bruce the waiter.

You got any links for the stats. I can always use new ones.

What I do not understand is Men and Women are free to Marry anywhere. But why should we legalize Sexual deviancy which is agaisnt every moral teaching we have.
We do not recognize:
Polygamy, Bigamy, Sexual unions, between same sexes, or mothers and sons, fathers and daughters, beastiality bi-sexuality.

Sexual perversion runs rampid through are society.
Our society has taken SEX and twisted it to be something you do for fun, love really has nothing to do with it. The diseases that are preventing health women from becoming pregnant due to many sexual partners, like HPV, PID are at there highest rate as well as HIV and others problems due to sexual deviancy. Our society is sexually peverse, and the word of sexual morality is becoming a thing of the past.
The world will reap what it sows.

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. "

I wonder if this guy knows that's not actually in the Bible.. a lot of people think it is.

"Oh, they will cite scripture as condemning same-sex love. But that boat won't float because scripture condemns many acts and has numerous behaviors proscribed which the church conveniently overlooks."

Oh this is class.
This guy thinks that just because others are hypocrites, that makes it okay.
Using his FLAWgic, just because Bubba Clinton raped some women and got away with it, I should be able ot do so as well.

And they wonder why people think they are nuts...

Maybe I got on the wrong track when I interpreted "stopped" to mean something beyond persuasion, but the subtext of your comments suggests the use of the force of the state to settle a social issue wherein the violation of individual rights is not present. If you have ruled out argument what else remains?

Why has God created what must be hundreds of millions of homosexuals worldwide???

Why has God created child molesters? Sheep buggerers?

When you get your answer, please fill us in.

Since I have no recollection of ever having conversed with you before, I have no idea why you bet I do. But kindly do me the favor of refraining from posting any more snide comments to me, unless you want me to make a larger issue of it.

I have more in mind grassroots movements to protect children from the homosexual agenda. Election of concerned locals to school boards who would prevent childrens' being exposed to pornographic sex-ed, local parishioners who won't tolerate Bishops' shuffling homo-predators around, etc.

It was a joke since you recommended Bennett's book. I've read several of his books and thoroughly enjoyed them but, if you recall, he got a little attention this past year for his gambling habit. No offense was intended and it was obviously perceived differently.

That is, indeed, quite an article. I haven't checked yet to see if it had been posted on FR, but saved it for future reference.

TKathy has bowed out.

She threw in a few inane one liners then retreated under the barrage.

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you"

If I was living in sin I would want you to tell me, so I guess I should tell you that not just in levetics but in the NT same sex acts are called a sin..
