I too am a member and past church council president of an ELCA church. I am beginning to look at other denominations. I fear the vote of the ELCA in 2005 on these issues. I expect the ELCA to join the US Anglican church on the road away from God.

Remember how Ronald Reagan talked about the Democrat Party...how he didn't leave it, it left him? Well, the same could be said for the ELCA. I understand there are congregations out in the MidWest already preparing to break away when the ELCA becomes the Queer ELCA in 2005. I am hoping for the resurgence of the ALC, myself.
