As the folks from Fresno, the beings from Bakersfield and the peeps from Pomona have arrived, so, predictably, have the demands for smoke-free casinos, smog inspection stations, vegetarian menu alternatives and draconian zoning ordinances.

And on that note...

It's amazing how many of the Californians that migrate out of state, complain about the "foreign" immigrants that moved to California who don't assimilate into the area.

Yeah, irksome, right?

Then they come to the surrounding states (or wherever) and do exactly the opposite...they don't assimilate into the state of their chosing.

And they wonder why the locals look at them with a suspect eye?
