Which based on historical precedence, you can pretty well count on. There *will* be some incident that the gun grabbers in the media can hype and pontificate over, although if it will really deserve the term "massacure" is really beside the point.

So if you haven't writen to your congresscritters to oppose these bill's, I urgently suggest that you do so now. It is urgent to take action against these measures. I haven't heard of them being defeated yet, so everyone needs to take action now!

Which we will. We almost always seem to have something like that before major anti arms rights legislation is considered.

OTOH, the Supreme Court could rule before then that the Second Amendment protects an individual right, and that AW bans are unconstitutional. Not likely maybe, but stranger things have happened.
