Same thing may be happening here. Our strict-constructionist-type conservatives (of which I am one) are not exactly thrilled with our free-spending president. Some of the cracks in the Republican front may be starting to deepen. I personally think that it's in part because the Republicans are in power - we don't have to unite to defeat a common enemy. Idle hands, and all that.

You do have a lovely country. I have been to Toronto and the Bowmanville/Oshawa area previously, and when I got back from there I kept telling everybody how wonderful Canada was. Trois-Rivieres just blew me away, though. I want to take a real vacation there sometime soon.

LOL!!!! To most Canadians, that's the least attractive part of the country!
