After the Estrada filibuster was going, Bush nominated Pryor, an obvious deference to the conservative movement. Bush also nominated Pickering again, and Owen again. These are not the moves of someone who is rethinking the conservative judge strategy. Also, he just nominated Janice Brown, a black conservative who is a California Supreme Court Justice. Excellent post. I agree. Thank you for all your efforts, votelife.
The 'enemy press' is our biggest stumbling block. We have voices on the world stage, but far too few....yet.

thank you; the reason I'm not too upset is because I think we're winning the Judge issue. Oh, I called up Menendez's office (the "Estrada's not Hispanic enough" Congressman) and rationally explained why I thought his criticism of Estrada was a disgrace.

Bush in his SOTU speech said that if activist judges continue to thwart the will of the people on this important issue (gay marriage) than the constitutional amendment is the only recourse...
translation, Bush is serious about the judges. Recess of Pickering shows that. He offered it to others apparently, but since it's temporary, others passed. This will be a big issue in the election, especially with FReepers helping to make it a big issue.
