West asked to differentiate between Muslims, terrorists

BIRMINGHAM: Speakers at the 18th annual Khatm-e-Nabuwwat Conference here urged the world to differentiate between Islam and terrorism and do not mix them up.

Around 10,000 Muslim scholars from all over the world attended the conference and dubbed terrorism as anti-Islamic, says a press release. They urged the United States and the European Union to differentiate between Muslims and terrorists.

Recommendations were made to set up more Islamic centres in the world to boost the image of Islam in the western world. Addressing the first session of the conference, chief of Aalami Majlis-e-Tahaffuz-e-Khatm-e-Nabuwwat Maulana Khwaja Khan Muhammad claimed that $ 20 million had been dedicated by Ahmadis to convert Muslims.

The Muslim Ummah should take steps to foil such attempts, he said. He asked Muslim countries and organisations to instead dedicate $ 40 million to avoid such conversions. He said all claims of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad to be Jesus and Imam Mehdi proved false. At the same time he asked the Christian community to give up supporting Qadianis.

Saudi scholar Dr Saeed Ahmad Inayatullah said allegations of Muslims involvement in terrorism were biased. Religious forces were not involved in terrorist acts, he said, adding terrorist attacks the world over were carried out by specially trained terrorists who had no relation with any religion.

"Terrorism is an anti-Islamic behaviour," he said and blamed anti-Islamic forces for global terrorism. He claimed that 600 Qadianis got guerrilla training in Israel. He demanded of the US and European governments to freeze the bank accounts of Qadiani cult the world over.

Chief guest of the conference, Amir of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind Maulana Asad Madani said the Muslim Ummah is ready to give whatever sacrifice was needed to protect the belief of finality of Prophethood of Hazrat Muhammad (Salla Allaho Alaihe Wasallam). He said defamation of the Prophet be declared a crime at international level. The foundation of Qadiani belief is laid on the hypothesis that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani is the reincarnation of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), he said and added the said Mirza claimed in 1901 in one of his books that he was prophet.

Maulana Abdur Rasheed Rabbani said to eliminate the politics of terrorism it was necessary to implement the Islamic principles in their true spirit. Other 'izms' and systems had failed, therefore, Islam should be accepted as a complete code of life. He resented targeting the Muslim Ummah on the plea of terrorism.

Maulana Saeed Ahmad Jalalpuri said the ratio of embracing Islam by non-Muslims had risen a great deal as 1,450 people embraced Islam in Oklahoma, America, last year. Hafiz Ikramul Haq Rabbani said actions against Muslim charity organisations were taken on the instigation of Qadianis and meant to strengthen the funds of anti-Islamic elements.

Secretary General Jamiat Ulema-e-Britain Mufti Muhammad Aslam demanded of the European governments to stop Qadianis from depicting Qadianism as "True Islam". "Their books contain blasphemy," he said and sought a ban on Qadiani books.

Mufti Khalid Mahmood urged the need to set up Islamic centres in the world to boost the image of Islam in the west and depict its true teachings. He asked the Ummah to set up welfare organisations to stop missionary activities in the garb of social welfare.

On the occasion, 10,000 Muslims vowed to protect Islamic principles, stick to the belief of finality of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and resist anti-Islamic forces. A resolution adopted on the occasion declared terrorism as anti-Islamic and urged the US and European Union to differentiate between Muslims and terrorists.

Differentiate between muslims and terrorists. The terrorists do the actual killing, the muslims sit on the sidelines and applaud what the terrorists have done!!

We would love to differentiate between Muslims and terrorists, but how does the west go about separating these one brain sharing siamese twins?

"I don't have the faintest. Islam is the religion of peace and terrorists can't still hate us for our Bill of Rights, can they?"

If we are to fight it successfuly, the administration needs to get a clue as to why terrorism exists?
