Oh, yes- I have posted sarcastic things on FR many times, which I thought were OBVIOUSLY not meant to be taken seriously. But unless you put a little "sarcam" tag on it, the humor-impaired Freepers will leap on the most obvious nonsense with both feet.

Try it if you don't believe me.

BTW, it is very clear to me that that "review" was meant to be sarcastic. I'm not sure that "ironic" is quite the same thing. In fact, "ironic" may be the most over-used word in the language (unless "metaphorical" is...)

Ooops, of course that should read "SARCASM tag". A "SarCam" would be a small webcam sending out pictures of me typing replies here.

And I will allow that the review may be considered "ironic", although I still prefer the less abstruse "sarcastic" for this sort of thing.
