But it's a hell of a poor career path. If you've been brought up with the idea of lifetime employment in the field you want with the pay rate you want then it's a bad thing. You're wasting your breath trying to tell some folks to be responsible for their own lives. Some get it, some don't. Most are walking around, umbilical cord in hand, looking for a place to plug it in...
O, and they get very hostile when you invalidate their entire life experience...
