You again assumed that everyone who supports the bill, or doesn’t see the bill as a “betrayal” also supports Bush…you don’t know that either, so I was right about you making broadline assumptions and generalizations.

Now, I did notice your shift, you’re talking about late term abortions, this was never discussed when this bill was going through the legislative process, and the only thing that Bush ever spoke about was banning partial birth abortions…so what you are doing is giving everyone crap because this bill does not address late term abortions…it was never intended to, and had you been paying any attention at all the entire time this was being discussed in Congress, you would have not been “surprised” by the posting of a three month old article from a presidential candidate that needs to strip Bush of some votes in order to have any kind of relevancy.

That’s what kills me, you talk about me and others standing in support of this bill as a political ploy , yet, the ones who are obviously politicizing this are those condemning a bill they never read until it was passed. Where the hell was all the activism before this point?

For one thing, you replyed to the wrong post. The one you responded to wasn't to you and it was discussing the rabid response to those out here asking questions similar to mine. This post was addressed to you. You didn't even respond to that one. Did you read it?

I am not on a Bush kick like, you are. I couldn't care less about Bush or the republicans on this issue; I care about the issue itself. What makes you so partisan that you think everyone is as partisan as you? Everything I hear from you is how to reduce the threat to Bush's reelection.

I like Bush in some things and dislike him on others, but I sure as hell don't think he is GOD. If you do, you have a mental problem. This is not about Bush.

What are you talking about, Luis? Is this or is this not about the reelection of Bush, and is or is that not about politics.

The only question I have asked on this thread regarding this bill is whether it will in fact prevent any late term abortions, including the partial birth abortions. From the definition in the bill itself, all a doctor has to do is deviate minutely from the specific procedure described and this bill does not cover it.

I you want to let that position constitute a "threat" to Bush's, or any republican's reelection, have at it. But that is your problem. I'm not involved in that controversy.

And, I couldn't care less who posted this piece. I didn't go by what they said or subscribe to their opinion. Someone posted the words of the bill verbatum and that is where my questions began.

Do you understand? Now leave me alone, unless you want to talk about the question and give me some reason to think this bill, if codified, will have the effect intended.
