Perhaps. But she might have the same addiction to high rolling as him. Limiting one's Vanity to $5K dinners in NYC might be good enough for most people. After all, fine cuisine and service has a clear aesthetic purpose. But Vanity addicts like Bennett (and possibly his wife) need to go cold turkey IMO.
