It may be just me, but it seems obvious that this guy hasn't even seen the movie.

From what I have heard it doesn't blame anyone. How can it? It's basically to our ears a silent movie.

I grew up a strict Chicago Catholic and it wasn't until I moved to a Jewish neighboor in Maryland at the age of 40 did I first hear that the Jews killed Christ. The nuns never taught us that. It was never even hinted at this.

It was God's plan for Christ to give up his life for us as he did. So be it.

This "Poor us. We are being accused of killing Christ" is just other liberal victimhood whine and by the fact that their critism is so strong, I'd bet it is one heck of a movie.

Not Catholic but I had the same experience. The only people I have heard say that are Jews who say Christians say that. Had the same experience regarding gays and race. I've not heard the things attributed to conservatives on those subjects from anyone but gays, blacks and liberals.

As an army brat I attended Catechism several places in the US and in Europe (in the 50's and 60's). I was also an adult before I heard (also from Jewish sources) that Christians believed that "Jews" (as in all Jews) were responsible for the death of Christ.

I, too, was an adult in the workplace before I heard that Jews killed Jesus....said by a Jew. Sister Callista would NEVER have taught that.
