I don't have the figures offhand, but should it be necessary, I can dig them up at a later date: in terms of percentage growth in government, W far outstrips the other presidents. Reagan may have had deficits, but look at what he inherited from Carter; he slashed tax rates and set the stage for the economic growth into the nineties.
