I believe you're reading discredited sources as it's just the opposite. Even gay researchers have had to recant their previous unfounded position that biology was the major factor. Regarding homosexuality, environment is the substantial factor.
Actually, he's proof of the Left's propaganda campaigns. He absorbs this half-baked pseudo-science from popular liberal news sources or television or Jerry Springer or Oprah. They make it convincing enough for a lot of people to fall for it. Later on, it's all disproved. But the only notice of the debunking of the research can be found in the science journals or, at most, on the back pages of a newspaper where few people will read them.
Falling for these tactics is why this country is so filled with useful idiots. They're the results of the modern version of yellow journalism.

From Fox News today, Brit Hume on the Grapevine reports a new poll relevant to our little discussion:
The gay movement may be gaining ground in the courts and in the media where the New York Times now says there are more gay-oriented TV shows than ever. But there's evidence the movement may be losing ground with the public. A new Gallup poll shows that before the Supreme Court ruled last month that gay sex is constitutionally protected, 54% of American said homosexuality should be considered an acceptable alternative lifestyle. But now, only 46% said that. In addition, before the Court decision, Americans were split down the middle (49% vs. 49%) on giving gay couples some of the legal rights of married couples but now 57% of Americans say they would oppose such a move.
Looks like the tide is turning now that people are really starting to think about it and discuss it. Marketplace of ideas at work. This reminds me of how the tide has begun to turn against abortion in public opinion in recent years.

Actually, he's proof of the Left's propaganda campaigns. After reading the entire thread I'd say he's definitely bought into the gay agenda and doesn't yet know it. Folks like that are the reason I put together my database of information on homosexuality.

Gays aren't the only ones who are pushing an agenda, after all.
