Why doesn't FR just get used to the idea that alot of people don't agree about certain things? To act as if one has the "truth" on anything especially if one butresses his opinion with a Biblical quote is so very foolish when you consider that not everyone shares the same views about religion let alone homosexuality. Next thing we will all be required to be a certain religion or be insulted here. The only truth here is that alot of people detest homosexuality and alot of people don't. Why can't we just accommodate that,,to continue fighting about it is fruitless and divisive. Are we all supposed to march in lockstep or what? I for one find the incredible hatred and hostility toward homosexuals to be just plain old offensive. So flame me, but you will not change my mind nor will I change yours. Some things are better left out of this forum.

You must not have kids. :-> Actually, I agree with your points to a certain degree. Civility should dominate any debate, at least it should if you want to have a good exchange of ideas.

However, we shouldn't be afraid to tackle any topics, at least any topics within the scope of FR focus. We're conservatives, we don't shirk from issues or hide behind PC buzzwords. We state what we think.

This is a forum to discuss conservative issues. This is not a site dedicated to creating more politically correct zones by first agreeing to disagree. Freedom of thought is squelched in public schools and instutions. We have the homoappologists asking for "only a little room to grow." As Nevil Chamberlan found out, getting along often makes you dead.
