Although not discussed in recent decades, following WW II there was a consensus among scholars and many political leaders that "what happened to Germany" was sexual subversion. Namely, the growth of the sodomy lifestyle was publicly accepted. To a lesser extent, the sodomites that surrounded Kaiser Wilhelm in court were a terrible influence on him during the period prior to WW I.

The parallels to what is happening in our country are quite striking.
