You could have MichiganConservativeSatellite up and running in just a year or two, offering just the channels you think are appropriate to that consuming public out there.

Why did you twist my desire for a new programming plan into a desire to control what other people want? You got a chip on your shoulder or something? In which post did I say I wanted to control what channels YOU can watch? I just think a lot of channels are crap and personally do not want to watch them (such as the Disney channel, CNN, TechTV, Univision, etc).

What is YOUR problem? Your rediculous sarcasm seems to indicate you have one and I believe your sarcasm directed towards me is uncalled for. Can I not have an opinion about the quality of TV programming or the service I get from a company?

I suggested nothing of the sort. I suggested that you offer a satellite or cable system you think would be popular with viewers. If enough people feel as you do, then it would be wildly successful. Others would be free to choose Direct-TV or Charter. You're the one who suggested a new type of system that lets you opt in to whatever channels you want. I said that you could do that. All it takes is money. If it's such a good idea, you'll have no problem raising the money.
