Not really.
In most muslim nations, midwives take care of births. and that's about it.
Specifically under the Taliban, women were 'doctored' by being 'examined' on the other side of a sheet. All that was visible was their mouth, and they had to answer questions.
In other nations, women are denied medical, or given very mediocre or minimal care.
In the most secular nations, there are women doctors for women, but the level of care is still not up to snuff as the funding is not available.

And where is NOW? They protest so much about the way women are treated but they have totally ignored what these women have had to go through. Cowards and hypocrites all. Thanks for the info.
