"EDI" on the stamp which means "Emirates Institute of Diplomacy."

Wrong. The stamp has "EID" on it, which commemorates the two most important festivals-or eids-in the Islamic calendar: Eid al-Fitr (breaking the fast after Ramadan, which is why it was released on October) and Eid al-Adha (the barbaric animal sacrifice which follows the pilgrimage to Mecca).

I agree that the stamp should never have been issued here, but Evans would be a lot more effective if got his facts straight. (By the way, there is an "Emirates Institute of Diplomacy" in Doha, Qutar -- why the heck Evans thinks that had anything to do with the U.S. Muslim stamp is beyond me.)
