Now, that's pretty nifty. Judging from the looks of it, you hook up a garden hose, put the coil into the bucket, and turn on the water, right?

You hook the garden hose to the lower coupling, a drainage hose to the upper one, then run a line from your boiling kettle to the upper skinny copper tube. Turn on the hose, start the wort siphon and the cooled wort comes out the bottom skinny tube into your fermenter. So it's a tube-within-a-tube.
Do a Google search on "counterflow chiller" and you'll get a ton of info on building (or buying) them. It was a fun project. I plan to try it out with beer next week!
