Then why did "The Death of the West" hit Number 3 on the Bestseller list?

If you are actually suggesting that 99% of the public disagrees with his views because they did not vote for him for President, then I suppose 100% of America disagrees with your views because, if you ran, you would not receive a single vote. Out of curiosity, why does a liberal such as yourself really care about neo-paleo in-fighting within the conservative movement? Shouldn't you be more concerned with the Democratic Primary and sticking up for your hero, Al Sharpton?

Best seller lists are not opinion polls. Why was it that when Rush Limbaugh's "The Way Things Ought to Be" fell out of the #1 position, the book that took its place was Howard Stern's autobiography? After weeks (or was it months?) of Limbaugh being at #1, did the American people all of a sudden turn boorish and crude? No, it's just that there truly aren't enough people who buy books to have one sector of the society dominate the book-buys. Limbaugh was #1; then Stern; then Buchanan was #3; a few weeks ago, Hillary was #1. It means nothing in terms of the overall attitudes and opinions of Americans.

Sorry, bucko, but Lord Haw Haw's book sold about 150,000 copies, he got beat out by probably 2 dozen non fiction volumes, including Lisa Beamer's "Let's Roll".

And most book buyers aren't slobbering sycophants, drooling over every word their hero says (unlike you pitchforkers). Plus, they trade their volumes around, and don't treasure the work of the author forever and ever.
