To be fair there are explanations that might address the suppositions you are making regarding bruises. In the end all that will matter is whether or not a jury believes that all of Bryant's explanations are plausible. Personally, I don't yet have a feel for who to believe here. I am surprised at those who are willing to viciously attack one side or the other based on such sketchy evidence.

I agree with your statements. I don't have the slightest idea what happened, but if I had to guess I'd say she consented initially and then tried to stop Bryant at some point (who knows?). However, I'm amazed at the folks attacking the victim here and disregarding the possibility Bryant could be guilty.
