So whats your point? We dont know what happened so its ok for Kobes lawyers to attack her credibility outside the trial? Its ok for Kobe to repress the facts while attacking her? I wish it was all sealed until the trial, but as Kobes lawyers prefer to try it in the media he is fair game for people to attack his credibility. Unless you can show where the victim has gone public, its all Kobes own doing that has this buzz going, as he wants.

I have not seen articles featuring Bryant's lawyers attacking her. Neither have I seen articles where they're trying to repress facts. Where are you getting this?

Byrant has an army of private dicks checking her past, do you honestly believe that if they find damning evidence they don't pass it along? Second, it is public record that his lawyers have made several motions to seal the evidence.

What was the kobe and wife show all about? Have uyou read the actual charges and supporting evidence? Its been sealed. Has any of the evidence been made public about what the room was like? Have the people from the room next door been on the Today show? Have the body guards been deposed? What did they say? Its all sealed.
Who are these Friends of the girl that keep talking. What about her previous calls to the police? Whered that come from?

I totally agree with you re the emotional capital -- and that's largely the result of the news outlets' insane competition to be the first with anything, so we're bombarded with every little salacious tidbit about this, and hearing it every 30 minutes on all the 24 hour TV news stations. What passes for news these days . . .

Actually, I don't have a dog in this race. Just defending the poor girl if she is a victum. But there is another thread that states the Jury Jaws will drop once they hear the evidence. Relating to the body guards.

Accounts have varied widely about how the woman ended up in Bryant's room - one version put her in his room while helping bellmen bring in bags, while another version held that Bryant sent bodyguards to fetch her. In my earlier posts I said that the bodyguards were acting very wierd according to a cabbie who drove them, this might explain it.

The bodyguards have not been indicted. I wonder if they're cooperating with the prosecution.

Actually, I don't have a dog in this race.

Then why did you say this?

"Last but not least, my favorite response to you guys that love this rapist thug."

Sounds like you've already made up your mind.

do you believe that women are incapable of falsely accuing men of rape?

Of course but I doubt it happens often considering what they have to endure.

but if I had to guess I'd say she consented initially and then tried to stop Bryant at some point (who knows?).

Maybe he's one of those looking-for-Mr.Goodbar types.

Add to that the caller to Sean Hannity's radio show yesterday, followed by the reporter from Vail trying to get the sealed records opened. What do those sealed records show? According to the caller (nothing confirmed or denied yet, folks, so don't get too stirred up)the sealed records are, at least in part, of OTHER rape/assaults she's brought against other guys...possibly one who also works at the same lodge with her. Hannity was going to try to set up an interview with the anonymous caller and his source for possibly today. May not happen, though.

I guess she stops being so "shaken up" when she parties and gets a little alcohol in her system. At that point, she brags about the incident and about Kobe's endowment. Flame away!

Flame away? Okay, Mr. lawyer, what part of physical evidence do you not understand? Not in dispute is that young woman was:
(a.) delivering a room service request from Mr. Bryant.
(b.) Mr. Bryant was observed by guests of the Inn flirting with the young woman.
(c.)The young woman was "hysterical" after the room visit, according to the Inn staff.
(d.) The young woman was rushed to a hospital by the staff.
(e.) Friends (i.e. "witnesses") of the young woman are now claiming they have observed evidence of force.

And "F" as in what you should have received on your Bar exam...GO BACK TO WALMART, you're a washout as an attorney!

I've seen numbers somewhere between 8 and 15% of all rape accusations are false.

I've heard all of this in the media, but what makes these points "not in dispute"?

He wouldn't, by any chance, be connected to Bryant's defense?

There's the problem. Anyone can make claims about anything. And there's probably a lot of walking around money for those that do.

Many of these points are precisely what are "in dispute" Just because you choose to believe one media source over another doesn't take something out of dispute.

All I have to say is this is why I root for the Spurs. Everyone acts like Kobe has this reputation for being such a great guy, but I don't recall Tim Duncan or David Robinson being literally isolated from his teammates for a number of seasons. I'm not saying Kobe is guilty-I'll wait for the facts, if Kobe's lawyer lets them out. But when it comes to the NBA, Duncan and Robinson are the class of the league.

I agree. This psycho slut just got her 5 minutes of fame.

It may have been consensual or it may have been rape

But your remark is the typical double standard
The woman is a slut but the guy commiting adultery with a slut is just normal

The left does this with Lewinsky painting her as a slut but Clinton is just ONE OF THE BOYS

Martina Navitalova was right on

The KoBot standard for truth:

Rumor that supports their hero - FACT
Rumor that condemns their hero - Gossip
Evidence yet to be presented - Irrelevant
Drunken friend - reliable witness
DA & other authorities - biased small town racist hicks
