Tyson was notorious. He beat up Robin Givens, his own wife. It was easy to attribute rape to him, though I didn't follow that case very closely.

Here's a possible scenario: She has consensual sex with Bryant, things get a little out of hand and a little rough.

She gets scared, goes home tells her mother what happened, and her mother tells her she's been raped (she had to be TOLD she was raped, according to Luke Bray).

Now, the evidence may prove that he's guilty, beyond a reasonable doubt.

But, by the time the trial comes around, her reputation will be destroyed.

All I've done is point out the silliness of some of the arguments. Such as the idea that a woman seldom, if ever, falsely accuses a man of rape or that the points you posted are "CORROBORATED by credible witnesses".

I'm just laughing at how wrapped-up some people are getting in a situation in which they know very little.

As I recall his initial response to the media was something along the lines of "You guys know me. I shouldn't have to say anything. You know I would never do something like that." So I guess it depends on the meaning of "that".
