A Bronze Star is a decent but not an extraordinary honor. There is no reason she why she couldn't qualify for it. The question is, what specific acts were cited for its justification? I would love to read the citation.

From what I read of the after action report, PFC Lynch was out of the fight almost immediately. Incapacitated after the driver of her Hummer ran into the back of a stalled tractor trailer. With that said, I am proud of her and the rest of the 507th (she should have went Marine Corps) and am sorry they found themselves in such a desperate situation. I am glad she made it back and I hope she makes a full recovery, both mentally and physcially.
