... Just got back, don't be put off by the screaming headlines they put in the papers down there- the dallies are very Enquirer-like in their attempt to make sales.
The rash of kidnappings seems to be focused on the Indian businessmen and their familes, as that is where the money is- I did not see anything about foreigners, and Carnival this year was praised as the safest ever ( might have something to do with the guys with the automatic weapons wandering around )
I'll be glad to give any advice I can via freepmail...
