Sure should have been in prime time, I agree. The stupid networks didn't even show this speech. I said earlier that the elite media does not want the truth to get out to the masses. Sad, isn't it?

Absolutely! Praising Americans for being leaders of the world, of appreciating and seeking freedom for ourselves and humanity - shared destiny.
He praised the President several times with genuine affection and respect.
What surprised me was how well he grasped the American spirit of every day Americans. Too bad most of those people representing us in that Chamber do not share his opinion of us.
To: Howlin
Look at PM Blair, explaining to the Congress what being an American means. Some of them really needed to hear it.
To: arasina
What an outstanding speech! Like a Reagan speech, makes you feel proud.

Hey, nobody's perfect. I'm sure he will come around on that one. The only thing "green" about the Kyoto Treaty is the green that will leave our country if it's ever implemented.
But he's got the right idea on the really important things: freedom, liberation, doing the right thing. Overall, he made a magnificent speech. Bravo!

What a speech, it must have killed the Dems to clap.
Homerun! Make that a Grand Slam! Great speech will go down in history. Why we must fight, explained perfectly.

Amazin. And to think on FR about four years ago about 95% of the people who posted about Blair could not STAND the guy. I still don't like his politics, but I respect him as a leader.

Wow! Was he channeling Winston Churchill?
To: Miss Marple
Bush should return the favor and give a speech supporting Blair in Britain.
Their media will hate it as much as ours will hate Blair's speech, but the people of England will get the message.
