My family is in Victoria, just off of the coast near Matagorda. Everyone seems to be pretty much doing business as usual. Sister's at work, paents aren't home. Guess I'll keep checking in.

Looks like the eye is passing north of the bay .. that is good -- the storm surge will hit the coast to the north and will not back up in the bays.
