"It would surely lead to a reassessment of whether the IRA should be put on the designated list of terrorist organizations with a global reach." Start the reassessment.
That reassesment is long overdue.
The IRA has been working with the FARC in Columbia since the 1990s. Three people associated with were arrested on August 11, 2001 with false passports and traces of explosives in Bogata and later charged with training locals with the use of explosives and mortars.
