Bush has been a pretty good president. He's stopped Kyoto and stood up to the UN. He has sincere antipathy to the trial bar and I believe a sincere one to the NEA.

But don't forget while the forces of freedom control the GOP, the socialist -- Dems+RINOs -- still set the agenda in Congress. And while the freedom-loving media has made huge gains over the last decade, the left still dominates and this is something any politician who wants to further his agenda must consider.

Yes, I know. We've got to hang onto the majority we have, build on it where we can, and weed out some of the Rinos as we go by bringing up new conservative blood through the primaries. But it is imperative that we hang on to the majority. The other side obviously knows this as well and are desperate to deny us. Desperate people take desperate measures. Anything can happen.
