After I posted the original article, I'm now a bit confused whether the Danes actually sent snow plow(s) or simply snow shovels.

The BBC article showed a picture of a snowplow [snowplough?] (ie a 2-ton truck), yet Reuters @ Yahoo claims they were merely snow shovels.

Anyone know whether what term Brits call a 'snowplough' is either a truck or just a shovel??
