The reduction in teen pregnancy has clearly been one of the most important public health success stories of the past decade, Secretary Thompson said. The fact that this decline in teen births is continuing represents a significant accomplishment. Which is it Thompson? A decline in teen pregancy is a success story, a decline in teen births is not necessarily a success story ...... unless you like to celebrate teen abortions.

In Texas, at least, the teen pregnancy rate is decreased. Some believe that the parental notification law has made a difference, although I believe that there are many reasons. Nation wide, teens are choosing to wait for sex, at least until they are older
It seems that teens can control their actions, after all.
