I just caught the intro to HardBall and they used this quote form the SOTU Speach: "Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa."

Now that we have that to chew on let me post the entire sentence from the SOTU Speach and ask you if Chris Mathews and MSNBC has an agenda, here is the full sentence... I report, you decide :-)

"The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa."

Has MSNBC let the public down?

You don't need to post it .. I already know what he said and I'm a simple stay at home mom who seems to pay more attention to the news then Chris Matthews

But then again .. I don't have an agenda to say things that are FALSE to try and beat down Bush's poll numbers, which Chis seems to be OBSESSED with these days

Yes, considering that the British government says that the forged document was but one piece of intelligence which indicated that Saddam sought to buy uranium from Africa. It makes me furious that this is being swept under the rug.
