The terrible thing about AveMaria was that whole kosher food thread.
If AM and this ComtedeMaistre are linked, this sheds new light on CdM's post a couple months back about "neocons."
It'd be excusable to dislike "neocons" whatever the hell that term means. It'd be forgiveable to be concerned about the Liberty. But combine that with the kosher food thread, and you have a flaming anti-semite, good ol' jew-hater-posing-as-conservative.

I will ping you when ComtedeMaistre replies. You are right that evidence adds up. We had anti Semites who sorta kept their kool here but (eventually) lost it and were banned. When they show up at LibertyForum you find out what they really think and it ain't very pretty.

The Kosher thread was good. I was glad to see that 95% of posts slammed her harebrained logic. Or was AveMaria a put on by someone more clever?

Oh, so this is the agenda - to attack anyone who says anything unfavorable about neo-conservatives as being anti-Jewish. I will make you a deal. The minute that someone accuses Rabbi Daniel Lapin of the Toward Tradition group of being a neoconservative, then I will join you in condemning that person as engaging in the stereotyping of Jews.
The minute that someone labels Libertarian and other Rightist Jewish intellectuals such as Ludwig von Mises, Murray N. Rothbard, Sidney Hook and Frank Meyer as neoconservatives, then I will protest. In fact, in some of my posts, I have criticized people who have tried to misrepresent the ideas of Leo Strauss, and have tried to label Strauss a neo-con. Such people have never read any work by Strauss. I am old enough to remember the era when Strauss was alive, in the 1960s. No one back then, ever confused the ideas of Irving Kristol with those of Strauss.
It is a shame that so many young people are so ignorant, that they want to shut down any and all criticism of neo-cons, by belittling it as anti-semitic. In my view, to caricature all rightist Jews as neocons, is inexcusable ignorance. Jewish contribution to conservative ideas, is not limited to neoconservatism. Get it?
If you want me to recommend some books written by rightist Jewish intellectuals who are not neocons, I would be happy to do so.
