Maybe this will finally shut up some of the hyperpatriot-wannabe idiots on this very web site who continually bring this up, even thought it's been debunked time and time again.
You know who you are!

Even I didn't expect some of these responses.
Maybe they are too stupid to understand.
The NSA, that's our spy agency, spying on Israeli communications as the event was occurring, at a time of war by the way, proves that the Israelis didn't know who they were attacking, and the issue becomes why the reporter for this story used the term "sink".

Maybe you could do us a favor and point out the folks who label as hyperpatriot wannabees?
I understand what you and courier are saying about the Israeli pilots operating in "good faith" and carrying out the assault in response to what they felt may be a dangerous target vessel.
I've ate crow before, it ain't bad if the beer is cold.
I definitely take exception with the title, however, and am not labelling the NSA as a doctorer of communications recorded that day. Blame that on my 8th grade english teacher. Clarity of thought is sometimes lost when emotions are invoked.
Thanks
