Agreed. Even when CENTCOM and DoD held DAILY press briefings and covered in detail the DAILY progress of our troops, the press ignored 'em.

COALITION EFFORTS TO SECURE IRAQ - then go back to MAY, and read the over 50 of such detailed reports of our troops awesome progress - and wonder how the press neglected to share this NEWS with the world, the American people and the newly freed Iraqis! Grrr!
On the positive side, these reports + the daily front pages of the daily NY Times condemn the press - case closed.
