You know, I've seen probably twenty or so places in Canada and the US called "The Sugar Shack", and none of them were places you would go without a sidearm or a VERY recent inspection certificate from the local health department. What is it with that name, and dangerous, crappy bars/restaurants/whatever?

When I was a kid, any establishment called 'the Sugar Shack' usually had the bouncers packing heat-mainly to collect should the men not find the requisite payment..

Places called "The Sugar Shack" have the same curse as streets named after Martin Luther King. If you have to find an address and the street is MLK St./Ave./Blvd., you better be packing something.
