Doritos are almost heavenly.

I haven't had them in about a month and a half though (partly due to having surgery in late May so I can't chew until probably next week or the week after).

I will try to go at least 3 weeks between buying Doritos once I can chew again, but there is just no way I will give them up completely.

You may not believe this but when I threw out the new package of Dorritos after being released from the hospital, I put a single piece in my mouth as an act of defiance.

When I passed the garbage can, I spit it out. It wasn't will power. It was more of a feeling of disgust as to what I did to myself.

You have to understand, before I went in the hospital, I thought I had done everything right. I exercised more than three times a week. I was building abs on a exercise machine, riding a mountain bike and shooting in contests. I even had an ideal weight. Then that happened. Even the doctors were shocked that I failed the stress test. We were laughing and joking until the results came in and suddenly it was like a funeral. I had 70% of one single artery blocked but that's enough. I didn't even have a heart attack.

The good news is I didn't have a heart attack, my weight is now 177 at 6 Feet, one. My cholestral is 110. Except for some torn muscles in my chest and a hernia that was given to me free of charge when they plugged the groin area, I feel fine.

I'm trying to get back to exercising like I did before but I don't think it's a good idea until I finish the rehab.
