John McCain endorses a Democrat for president.
Not in this article, the headline is misleading. McCain said nice, collegial things about his friend Kerry.
He's a RINO, to be sure, but he hasn't jumped parties... yet.

Oh he is not going to jump parties. He will be here to screw with our heads until he decides to retire but I don't think he will endorse Bush! I truly believe he endorsed Kerry!

McCain isn't ever going to jump parties, people need to stop being so paranoid.
Your right, he's just saying nice things about a guy he's friendly with, which is fine. If your in politics, you know your frequently friends with people on the opposite side, and that doesn't make you a trator to say nice things about them personally.
Anyhow, even at that, he's helping us. I'd much rather have Kerry get the nom then Dean or Gephardt.

Thank you for being fair. There are so many things I can point to that enrage me about my Senator, but this is NOT one of them.

McCain said nice, collegial things about his friend Kerry. That's right! All he did was say nice things about a friend; he didn't endorse him for President. Freepers, don't overreact.

I think Dean is more dangerous than Kerry. McCain would rather Kerry get in than Dean, just like many here would love to see Sharpton win.
Also, I think he personally likes Kerry more than Dean. So why not muddy the waters a bit? Dean is coming from behind, and we should hope they are without a front runner as long as possible.
