bump to study later! :)

most American men show an "overwhelming" preference for women sporting long, luscious hair compared to shorter cuts, researchers report.I can't believe there is a study I actually completely agree with!
I was pleased to see this, too:
On the other hand, when Kline's group asked women about hair-length preferences for men, the vast majority chose short or very short cuts. Since long hair is so closely linked to femininity, Fabio-like locks might signal to women that a man is somehow less virile or capable than his buzz-cut brethren, Kline theorized.

Fuller still makes boar bristle brushes and I've seen them lately in Walgreens in the hair sections. Nothing works better.

Hmmm. In my early twenties, my hair started shedding a lot (I was experimenting with vegetarianism, and probably had a nutrient-deficient diet; but what did I know, back then I was an idiot leftist, too...) and is now quite thin.
Do you think supplementation would help?

WAIT!!!!!!!!!! Didn't we already do this 10 or 12 times??????
You gotta learn to share!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering. (1 Corinthians 11:15)

At 19 I lost a lot of weight and mine thinned a bit (I still have enough for three people). Eating better won't hurt at all, but it may take time before any improvement shows up. If not, I don't know what to tell you.

Bed, Bath & Beyond carries Mason-Pearson. That's where I bought mine.

I've been using boar bristles for at least ten years. 100 strokes every night, bent at the waist, from scalp to ends. THe only conditioner hair really absorbs.

Maybe someday they'll also figure out that Madonna is old!Yikes! So that makes her unattractive does it?

It's in the Bible? Well, then it's a moral imparative.

I hope Drs. Kline and Peeler and Ms/r. Fazzone were laughed out of the annual meeting, otherwise the American Psychological Society is even more of a joke than I thought.
I'm not a mathematical statistician (nor do I play one on TV), but my father was. The family consulting business and my two statistics classes give me a fairly good background. This study is, to put it mildly, seriously flawed. Pathetic is closer to the truth.
A sample size of 50? In one city? To say that from this one can generalize that "men", with all the variety that assumes, prefer anything is downright stupid. To be fair, I've not run the numbers nor studied their "data", but with the scant information given here, it's intuitive that this study is lacking. Of course, it's intuitive that men prefer women with long hair, too. What a joke.

Short hair? Spend ½ hour blowdrying itWhat?1/2 hour? for short hair? Mine is short and takes just a few minutes to dry. My daughter has long hair and when she blow dries it, it's like forever. If she lets it dry naturally, it just hangs, no style whatsoever. Hippie days are over. Short hair is definitely low maintainance, with a good cut. By the way, we just spent about 20 minutes plunging the bathtub drain because daughter's long hair was clogging it up. Ugh!

IMHO.............. butch cuts should stick to Urban areas!
You know, ........... the Jessie BBQ's!
